Unplugged Legends

Unplugged Legends is a heartfelt, acoustic-driven celebration of the music that defined a generation — performed by two brothers (originally from Appleton, WI) with a lifelong passion for these iconic songs. This show transports audiences back to the late 1960s and 1970s, a golden era for the singer-songwriter movement. The repertoire features masterworks from the era’s most beloved artists: James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Simon & Garfunkel, John Denver, plus favorites from Gordon Lightfoot, Harry Chapin, Dan Fogelberg, and other pillars of the folk-rock movement.

With just voices, acoustic guitars, piano, and light accompaniment,

Unplugged Legends strips these songs back to their emotional core, revealing the beauty, intimacy, and craftsmanship that made them endure. The brothers’ natural chemistry and tight vocal harmonies bring a familial warmth to the performance, creating the feeling that you’ve been invited into their living room for a personal, heartfelt concert.

Throughout the evening, the brothers share engaging stories about the artists, the cultural backdrop of the songs, and the personal connections they have to this music. These moments of narration provide historical context while also drawing the audience deeper into the emotional landscape of the performance. The result is more than just a concert — it’s a living tribute to an era when songwriting was king, harmony was a necessity, and authenticity was the heart of the art.

Unplugged Legends is perfect for audiences who grew up with this music as well as younger listeners discovering it for the first time. Whether it's the nostalgia of revisiting songs that played on the radio decades ago or the discovery of the poetic depth behind these acoustic treasures, the show consistently resonates across generations.
