Academic Hall of Fame

Mission: The Adams-Friendship Educational Foundation has taken the next steps to preserve and strengthen the district motto Preparing Students to Perform for Life, through the establishment of the Adams-Friendship Academic Hall of Fame. Both alumni and former staff members will be recognized for outstanding accomplishments in their field of work or study. By honoring these positive role models connected to the Adams-Friendship School District, the Foundation hopes to showcase quality education and inspire current students in both their studies and extra-curricular activities.

Each year the Foundation’s Academic Hall of Fame Committee will induct up to three honorees, which may include one former staff member, to the Hall of Fame.

The alumni award will honor former graduates of Adams-Friendship High School for their contribution to society/academic achievements, and for enhancing the reputation of our school. To be considered for this honor, candidates must have graduated from Adams-Friendship High School a minimum of fifteen years before being nominated and have attended Adams-Friendship Area Schools for at least six years. Former Adams-Friendship staff members will be recognized for enhancing the reputation of the school district as well as their contributions supporting the academic success of our students. Staff members must be at least five years removed from service in the school district to qualify for the Hall of Fame. Legacy honorees who are not otherwise nominated or deserving individuals who have passed may be recognized for contributions to the Adams-Friendship School District.  In special circumstances, guidelines for alumni, staff, and legacy honorees may be waived at the discretion of the selection committee.
